HOW TO READ MY BILL

When is my bill due?
  • All charges become due on February 15, they are considered delinquent May 1 and must be paid in full before receiving water. After November 15, the District shall levy and collect penalties in accordance with existing law.

Why do I receive a bill from Yakima Tieton Irrigation District?
  •  Yakima Tieton Irrigation sends out a yearly bill if your parcel has YTID shares that are appurtenant to the property.

What if I don't pay my water bill?
  • Water assessments are a lien against the property.  This assessment will become delinquent May 1st, and will be charged interest at 12% per annum computed on a monthly basis from May 1st until paid.  The foreclosure on a parcel is handled in the same manner as your property taxes.

How can I pay my bill?
  • Simply mail your assessment with a check/money order for the full amount to our mailing address.  Please visit our office to pay your bill with cash, check or card.
